Combined PET/CT provides earlier diagnosis, accurate staging/localization and precise treatment planning. The combination PET/CT provides physicians a more complete picture of what is occurring in the body, anatomically and metabolically, at the same time. All patients are scanned on a radiation therapy table and are positioned to most closely align with potential radiation therapy protocols.
